MHDC is proud to announce that it is serving as the technical partner to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI)’s Corporate Social Responsibility Department’s new public-private partnership malaria project being implemented as a sub-recipient of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (“The Global Fund”)’s “Regional Artemisinin-Resistance Initiative Phase 2, Elimination” (RAI2E).
The UMFCCI-CSR Department is implementing the project “Engaging the Non-Health Corporate Sector to Support Malaria Control and Elimination Activities in Myanmar” in support of the National Malaria Control Programme, and the United Nations Office For Project Services (UNOPS) serving as Principal Recipient of the Global Fund.
The project will be implemented in 10 townships across Myanmar from 2019 to 2020.
